Fårö can be a magical place to get married and it is popular with many! To help you plan the wedding, we have compiled a list that can help.
The first choice can sometimes be to choose whether the wedding should be church or civil. To book a priest, visit: Swedish Church and if you want a civil wedding visit: County Administrative Board
If you plan to have a reception, dinner and party in the same place, we recommend Fårö Bygdegård. With space for 100-140 people, kitchen, stage and an overnight apartment.
Beyond the most obvious place that is Fårö church, so are the smoking areas and the beaches popular.
Are you a larger group and want to stay in one place? Then we recommend that you go out in good time and choose either: Fårögården, Fårö Kursgård, Stora Gåsemora or Sudersand resort.

Our recommendation is to choose Gåsemora Gårdskrog if you live in Great Gooseberry.
Right now there is no taxi or bus company on Fårö, but during the summer the bus collectively, see stops here. There is also bicycle rentals which can deliver if needed. Just remember reflexes and flashlight!
