Vera Dreams of the Sea var årets vinnarfilm av The Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award, tävlingen som Bergmanveckan och Göteborgs filmfestival satte på banan 2007. I ett kontrastfyllt Kosovo väcker makens bortgång förhoppningar hos teckenspråkstolken Vera när hon får veta att deras landställe nu stigit skyhögt i värde på grund av motorvägsplaner i området. Med Teuta Ajdini, Alketa Sylaj, Refet Abazi, och Astrit Kabashi.

Vera Dreams of the Sea was this year’s winner-film of The Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award. Awarded jointly by the Bergman Week and Göteborg Film Festival since 2007. In a complex Kosovo a newly widowed sign language interpreter named Vera gets a glimpse of hope as their cottage’s market value has soared thanks to motorway works. With Teuta Ajdini, Alketa Sylaj, Refet Abazi and Astrit Kabashi.
