We roll out from Bergmancenter (if it’s not pouring rain) towards Dämba on our own or rented bike to look at filming locations from some of Ingmar Bergman’s most iconic films.
During the guided tour we visit filming locations for Persona, Through a Glass Darkly, Scenes from a marriage and talk about the films and the importance of the landscape.
We start by cycling to Dämba, where we see some clips in Bergman’s own ”cinematograph”. There will also be a coffee/juice break with a cheese sandwich from Café Smultronstället. Then we cycle on towards Hammar’s cliffs, the filming location for Persona. We finish by cycling the scenic road along the sea towards Hammar’s beach, where Bergman’s Oscar winner Through a Glass Darkly was shot. After just over two hours, we are back at Bergmancenter. The tour is led by Bergmancenter’s chairman Jannike Åhlund.
