Young Bergman Week invites you to a fast-paced week of circus, theater, dance, music and creative joy under the leadership of professional performing artists and educators.
July 21 – 25
For children between 6–12 years old
Parents or other accompanying adults are of course welcome to come along free of charge if the child needs support or company during the week.
During five creative days, participants will explore the world of performing arts together with professional performing artists and educators. This year's theme is Play & Pleasure, with particular focus on circus. Through workshops and joint creation, the children get to try out theater, dance, circus, singing, music, scenography and makeup, while gaining insight into how a performance develops.
The week is led by experienced artists and educators, with the support of volunteers who are on site to create a safe and inspiring environment for all participants.
Activities take place daily 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and both lunch and snacks are included.
To conclude the week, family and friends are invited to a presentation on Saturday afternoon, where the children get to show off parts of what they have worked on and created during the week.
At Bergmancenter.se The program is continuously updated with the names of participating educators and performing artists.
