The maintenance of Fårö's roads was managed by the landowners. The distance each was required to maintain was in proportion to the size of the landholding.
At the beginning of the 1930s, there were 39 church stables preserved in connection with Fårö church. However, these were in poor condition. They lay in groups around the church by the access roads.
Hammar's fishing village If you continue on the road past Verka's länning, you will come to Hammar's beautifully situated fishing village. Here there are two stone sheds from the 19th century and a preserved yeast barn
The mill was probably built at the beginning of the 19th century. In the mill there is an engraving with the year 1884. Perhaps this engraving was made in connection with some restoration.
