When it comes to food waste on Fårö, there are three ways you can go.

The other option is to compost yourself.
On Gotland, composting of garden waste and kitchen waste is permitted within one's own property if it can be done without inconvenience to the surroundings. You can also compost at a workplace.

The third option is to contact a local resident and ask if they would like to accept some of the food waste.
