Notes
The date for this year's Fårönatta will be September 19th and the last date for registration for advertisers will be August 5th.
Finances from previous years were presented and proposals for adjusting the price list for 2026 were made.
The proposal includes opening up the cheapest option (100 SEK) to more people.
This year's sponsors were presented and will once again be BRS Network, but also Happy Paragraphs.
Suggestion: Put up “Thank you for the bus” swish notes on the bus.
Advertising
Proposals to discontinue the printed program were met with mixed reactions and will therefore continue.
Feedback on the use of Faro.se's event calendar was received. Clearer instructions and usage are requested.
Use of Gotland.com More push should be made in marketing. The Fårönattageneral should review event registration and compile an instruction manual or similar.
The physical program was well received and distributed to all advertisers. However, this will only happen if the set registration date is met.
Suggestions for earlier and more colorful (that follow the theme) posters, which will be put up in more places than Fårö.
Tip: Contact Magnus (Gåsemora) and ask if street talkers can be borrowed.
These can be placed at activities during the summer.
Suggestion to contact Destination Gotland about marketing.
Young people
David talked about what the situation was like in Fårönatta 2025 and that Region Gotland's youth department is more willing to take on greater responsibility this year.
David will also try to get a temporary camping ban at the Ulla Hau parking lot and contact Fårö Community Association about the parking at Sudersand.
David has scheduled a meeting with the Youth Department at the end of March/beginning of April and will continue playing.
Tips on contacting local young people to get their perspective, and asking for possible help with transporting visitors, at Lansa. (EPA-TAXI)
Reflexes
David said that Länsförsäkringar is sponsoring reflectors this year.
Requests for “cooler” reflectors were granted. Reflective tape and stickers that can be placed on clothing and mobile phones and the like.
During the program, reflectors will also be distributed and all participants should encourage visitors to use them.
Next meeting
More meetings are desired, so David will invite you to another one in a month after the meeting with the Youth Department.
If you would like to participate in the next meeting – email faronatta@faro.se
