In Fårö you can buy batteries at ICA Fårö and you can return them there after use.

If you want to think about the environment and buy rechargeable batteries, please read this article:

About batteries:

Batteries can contain mercury, cadmium and lead – substances that cause great harm if released into the environment.

Loose small batteries are used in, for example, flashlights, watches, remote controls or cameras. Built-in batteries are found, among other things, in electric toothbrushes, computers, toys or tools.

Solve small batteries left in a battery case or similar container. Products with built-in batteries left together with other electrical waste, usually at the municipality's recycling centre. Car batteries left at the municipality's recycling center or similar or to those who sell car batteries.

Keep in mind that many of the things that move, flash or make sounds are powered by batteries - even if it's not visible.
